Bring the family to the Joplin celebration on the 4th of July hosted by Joplin Parks and Recreation and Missouri Southern State University at the State Fred G. Hughes Stadium. This event is family-friendly and admission free. Plan to sit on the west side of the stadium or bring your lawn chairs in order to lounge on the field.
