Plan on attending the 2022 Annual Joplin Christmas Parade on December 6th, starting at 6:30 pm. This will be a very “sweet” family-fun event with the theme “Christmas in Candy Land.”  Registration closes on November 25th. We have complete details to follow.

Parade runs up Main Street from 15th Street to 2nd Street.  The Grandstand and Judges Table are located at 8th and Main Street.

Freeman Health System is proud to continue our ongoing support and sponsorship of the Annual Joplin Christmas Parade. We consider this a gift to the community we are so blessed to have served for the past 97 years, and we are honored to play a key role in bringing the parade to Joplin again this year.

We are limiting the non-school/band entrees to the first 75 that register. Limiting the parade entrants not only makes the pre-parade line up safer and more organized, but it also takes into consideration the limited space we have for this year’s parade.

Funds generated by the 2022 Joplin Christmas Parade will go to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, which provides assistance to children from birth to 21 years of age in a 14-county area in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. All money raised stays local, helping children with medical needs and their families. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals helps furnish and maintain Freeman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, provides funding for local community organizations’ pediatric needs and provides pediatric emergency equipment for area agencies.

Entry fees are $50 for for-profit organizations and $15 for non-profit organizations, while schools and bands are free. Spaces are limited, and the last day to register is November 25.
